Is a house battery necessary if plugging in at campground?

Is a house battery necessary if plugging in at campground? The trailer I'm looking at (2005 Fleetwood Resort TNT 25QB) has a battery of unknown condition, and it may be the original, ten years old. But I'm not sure if I need to budget to replace it, as we'll be only using campgrounds with power at the beginning. Boondocking maybe some day, or maybe never.

The fridge is propane and AC. I'm not certain if it's DC as well, and I can't find specs on the manufacturer's website. I would want to keep it cold while towing down the road. Perhaps the fridge uses DC for circuitry or fans? How would I know for certain?

Are there reasons I'm not thinking of to have good house batteries when not boondocking?

Edit: Why am I afraid to budget a battery if RVs are such expensive money pits? Shouldn't I not have bought an RV if a $150 battery is pricey? Because we have some specific needs that only an RV can address. Many buy an RV only for fun. We have a few needs and must have an RV. But it's good to know we can also go have some fun :-)
