An easy solution is to stay at CG's that have a 'no-pets allowed' policy. There are many of them out there.
It has been my experience is that over the years the demographics of campers has changed dramatically. The newer generation is 'all about me' and have a total disregard for CG rules and CG hosts are reluctant to enforce them.
I have been fulltiming for about 5 years and I have yet to pull into a CG and have all the pet owners follow the CG rules. I have pets and I found it very disheartening and it makes for an unpleasant stay not being able to walk my dogs safely or even have them on my site safely.
RV'ing and enjoying a nice and quiet stay at a CG has IMHO changed dramatically over the past 10 to 20 years. :(
