You make a good point, and I would say that is good advice. However, I have no problem hearing kids play, or hear their TV, etc because that is part of life. I do have a problem with people who willfully ignore rules for their own benefit with no regard for other people. I see that all the time, but I wouldn't expect it to be a bigger problem when camping than any other type of traveling, or everyday life for that matter.

Several people here have said the campground pretty much mirrors everyday life. I find encouragement in that because my limited experience thus far was that it did not mirror everyday life but was worse; hence the reason for starting this thread in the first place. I expect people to be people and I enjoy that, especially watching the kids in the campground who are actually having fun OUTSIDE.

I do appreciate all of the input and realize that many trips will go just fine.
