We rarely stay in RV parks because back home we have 6 acres. We like our peace and quiet. The one neighbor we can see isn't home much so it's fairly quiet around here. When he is home, his dogs run wild, he builds big bonfires close to the property line (fire marshall caught him once), and didn't remove his "caretaker" after we won an anti-harassment order. But, he is rarely home. We will stay at state parks (which, in the tourist season can be zoos) but mostly at USFS/BLM/boon dock sites. The key is to camp off season and in places the general public doesn't frequent: eastern OR, most of NV and ID, parts of WY/UT/CA/WA/CO. Better luck next time.
