A side note here - My sister and her hubby have this large family dog and when they started traveling in their Montana fifth wheel their grand idea was to carry their dog inside the fifth wheel. They had brought their dog along on many trips but it always rode in the back seat of their chevy truck. So off they head out and after the first 50 miles or so they pulled into a pit stop and of course went to check on the their dog...
The dog had gone nuts - wide eyed - scared to death. Had threw up in several places inside the fifth wheel etc.
You could not drag the dog inside the fifth wheel when they took him outside of it...
It must have been one terrifying ride for their dog.
To this day they still have a hard time bringing their dog inside their trailer. They had fixed an entrance to the pass through storage area with a door access from the entrance door area of the fifth wheel. The dog had a real nice area to sleep in all - first class.
I have never ridden inside the trailer when on the road but I have heard it is a night mare for sure with everything moving around and all.
just my true story haha...
