I have the 28 bhbe, which has a nearly identical floor plan, though yours is about 600lbs lighter. I would echo what others have said about payload weight on the SUV. Best thing to do would be to weigh your tow vehicle with all family and gear that you would pack into it for camping and subtract that number from the gross vehicle weight rating that you can get from the manufacturer (this is the max weight the vehicle is designed to carry, including full tank of fuel, all passengers, and payload). The difference is how much available payload you would have left for the tongue weight of the trailer, hitch, etc. I had a RAM1500 when I purchased my trailer, and I am now in the process of getting a 2500 because the 1500 was overweight once I had everything in. Rookie mistake on my part as this was my first purchase as well.
