Ah yes, the shakedown cruise. The one that you will not forget. Ours, as complete greenhorns right down to pulling a trailer of any kind, was over 2 months & took us, in a round about way, from Austin, TX to the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay.

A very steep learning curve.
