I feel your pain. I've been chasing a private sale for 2 months. We've been looking around for a pre-Monaco Safari and the closest one was on Craig's List in New Hampshire. I called the guy trying to set up a weekend day to look at it. He works weekdays and I didn't want to look at the MH in the dark. He just keeps saying that he's not around. The bus went on eBay and didn't meet reserve, then back on CL at a lower price. I called him and told him point blank; if this bus is in as good a shape as you say, you can consider it sold.
The MH isn't on the road, so I need to arranged this with my son and his repair plate. I work on Saturdays so I need to coordinate that as well. I don't understand why some people just don't want to sell.
