we have stayed in our hybrid TT, at Yellowstone, Glacier and Yosemite.
the rangers there said that food in the fridge/freezer was fine but any opened non-refrigerated food should go in the bear box.
we have never had an issue and followed the rangers' instructions AND we also cooked inside the trailer.
did put the grill in the bear box, since it had meat/fat dripping in it.
