One major typo (110 watts should be 15/20 amp) but otherwise good advice.
On the spot thingy.. As a licensed ham radio operator (There is a small one time fee for the license examiner) I use a program alled APRS-droid on my phone.. People who have the URL can find me.. people who don't can't. (provided I activate it, I do not think it is active just now).
THis program is really used for other things, but it is nice for just tracing where you are.. Sometimes that is the quickest way to find out :) (Actually Google Maps is but hey, they use Google maps).
