We are seasonal campers an this has worked for us and many others in our CG. use fresh water when available never leave it on when going for day trips just in case. you can leave water in your fresh tanks if you want but if not using it can get stale. never leave your black tank open or you will have issues. just dump when full and add chemicals. I leave the grey tanks opened the traps in the sinks seal out the sewer gases. We also sanitize our tanks several times a year and flush them out well.
