I've driven about 420 miles on two trips now. That is the furthest I would want to go. I do it because that is my end destination. It's about 8-8.5 hours and that's enough for me pulling the trailer.

If I had a 1000 miler, I would consider making it half way, depending on how many days of vacation I had.
