I don't see any difficulty pulling off the road to use the toilet. All you need is a wide spot. I think it's quicker.
And, you don't need to find a rest stop, gas station, etc..
The only time I pulloff onto the berm is if I have an immediate problem, and pee stops don't count. Have you ever looked at all the junk that finds its way over there? I have,and don't want the risk of picking up something in a tire. There are plenty of rest areas and exits.
