OK then! Very new here and very new to this life style. I'm already having problems@! (Go figure!)
The wife and I are about to retire and hit the road. Gonna try out the RVing life style. We are nearing the final stages of remodeling a class C and we purchased an Atwood On-Demand water heater less than two months ago. It doesn't work. I've talked to their technical support people at least 4 or 5 times and taken it to two different Atwood 'certified' repair centers. They both are telling me I need to get my money back.
Atwood's technical support people have all but admitted these units are problem prone.
I've done everything and checked everything they have asked me to. The water flow is more than double what their manual says it needs to be. The lpg pressure is well above what they say the minimum needs to be. They sent me a spring to replace which I did and still I get a quick burst of hot when I first turn it on and then the water goes cold.
It simply doesn't work!
Don't make the same mistake I did. I'm still fighting the battle with Atwood. I want my money back!
Does anyone have any input? I could use all the help I can get. Atwood certainly is not helping.
