For us it’s almost a must to have a run around vehicle.
We tried our first long trip without a toad (neither of our cars could be towed 4 down) and ended up spending $3000 in rental cars. Traded in the Caddy for a Chevy Equinox and will be putting a base plate on it before the next big adventure.
