the deals are in the snowbird areas and they happen in the spring. A fair amount of “turnover” happens every year in the Sno bird areas where folks have taken their last trip either figuratively or literally. For a deal, I’d totally be looking at AZ in March/April. When we lived there, RVs for sale flooded the market right around/after spring training.
I think we may end up just purchasing locally even though a bit more expensive then in the south. When you would add on the cost for flights down to look at rigs, motels, rental car, time of work etc. it really does not add up to to much of a savings.
I had posted an AD on craigslist looking to buy - and stated that we would pay 1-2K over what their trade in quote was.
But our AD kept getting flagged and removed from cragslist I assume from Dealerships not wanting us to detour people from trading in there motorhome is all I can figure as there was nothing else in our AD that would warrant getting flagged.
