I lost control while towing a horse trailer. I was all over the road. Fortunately I regained control but it was white knuckle experience. #1 Horses became untied and moved to the rear of the trailer. #2 My trailer electrical plug was not plugged in properly. What I learned from that experience. Never trust anyone else to check your vecicle. I should have checked the horses and everything else myself before driving. I now walk around my vehicle at every stop, checking out everything myself. I don't rely an anybody else to tell me all is OK. It only takes a few minutes to make a complete safety check of my vehicle and a trailer or toad if I am towing.
