I think this is the reason so many posters recommend and post about having enough TV and proper equipment. The only collision I saw happened in front of me and it was because the TT owner did not have the proper TV pulling his trailer. I also did not know enough then and was pulling a 27' TT with a car, believing that because the car had a 350 engine, it could tow the trailer. The "friend" who put the hitch on the car and wired the electrical plugs didn't know enough to tell me "NO WAY" would this combo be safe. Equipment, speed, inattention, and dumb luck are causes of collisions.
