Many Thanks to All

If your reading this, it's very likely you've made a post that has helped or will help a Fellow RV'er like myself and I just wanted to say Thank You
I just purchased my 1st Rv 5 days ago and and this forum has been invaluable to me, because even though I've been camping with RV'ers for 25 years I unfortunately know ZERO about them.
My very good friend who was 82 and just recently passed away, was supposed to be my resource in a pefect world beacuse of his 30+ years of experience, but since that didn't happen, you folks have filled that void quite nicely.
So from a New and Fellow Rv'er, Thank you all for your current and future help, I truly couldn't embark on this exciting adventure without you !

    Hopefully it's working now. Did they work on the carb, or just replace it? Is it running well and passing smog now?

    Turns out it was the New Holley 4bbl that was put on that was causing the problem, Running 7x too rich..and was just slapped on but not adjusted to the motor..Another lesson learned :S

    86 minnie winnie, which i just went to get smogged and the exhaust is glowing red hot under a load. :(

    It is truly written that every company, Even those auto companies that hand make very very very expensive Italian sports cars.. occasionally turns out a Lemon. In fact I have a story about one of those (not mine) but it fits not this thread.

    And every company, Even YUGO, occasionally turns out a nugget of Gold. (though I've not yet seen one of those from Yugo).

    Something I just wrote regarding RV's though. is this. It pays to know how do do a lot of your own minor service.. Major jobs (Like pulling an axle) or messy jobs (Oil change) I pay for. Just now I am in the middle of a jack replacement.. That one I can do easier than I can pay someone to do it.

    The trick here is to sort through the filler to get to the meat. It is the best forum for getting answers to questions
