Well including mine I saw two "It's there to lock it up" posts.

Though I will admit I said I RECOMMEND the more expensive unit I did not put down the one they bought.

Now.. Others have explained WHY I recommend the better unit.

I guess it is much like someone making racist remarks like “the pot calling the kettle black” I am sure that was of great value to the forum.

If I were ordering something and someone told me it was not likely going to do what I thought it was, I'd be pleased to know. So freak no more.

It is all good...I have been on forums for years on a variety of topics. It is "a" data point, not the "only" data point and there are a lot of...differing...options and thoughts. I did some digging around elsewhere before I just went out and purchased the other unit.

I ordered a EMS-PT30X for the under protection...

They have changed the model numbers yet again. So it has evolved to EMS-PT30X.

THe EMS-PT30X and the PT-30C are different models. Slightly different specs (not enough to matter) different case The PT-30 is basically and HW-30 in a weather resistant case with plug and outlet.

But I'd recommend either of them HW-30c PT-30c or EWS PT-30X
