It also depends on whether you're wealthy enough to keep the humongous 3500 pick-up only to tow the fiver. We couldn't consider that, hence we bought a 32' Class A. DW can't drive the MH either since she's "altitude challenged", but a big, crew-cab pick-up as our only vehicle would have been out of the question.
Different situations for different people, but that was our take. We don't pull a toad either, since we usually do our sightseeing as we travel from one CG to the next.
