True. That got me to thinking Some are anti moho because there is nothing in front of the seats to absorb a crash. Fair question. On the towable, yes the TV is supposed to absorb the energy & protect the occupants. Those tests are done vehicle only. What happens when there is a trailer weighing twice the TV attatched behind. Where does all of that energy go when the TV runs into something solid? How much is absorbed by a hitch system as it comes apart? How much is absorbed at the trailer crushes & the back of the TV crushes before it gets to the cab? How much can the front of the TV absorb in addition to the truck weight only that it was designed to do?
Either vehicle, the results don't look good.
