I’ve only been at this for a little over 3 decades so bear with my, I’m still learning.
If I need to get something or go somewhere the odd time I didn’t want to break camp, the cost of a rented car or taxi (now Uber, Lyft, etc, etc) which comes to you, is nothing compared to the cost of dragging a toad around ‘just in case’…….
In fact when I do make a day trip somewhere, I far prefer to take m/h, I’ve never yet seen a toad with recliners, a kitchen and washroom.
YMMV.
