Have you looked into compensation for loss of use from the other party’s insurance?
Idk how that works with a lease but have to believe you can continue your current plan without re signing for another 2-3 years on the same car. Assuming you were not at fault.
If you’re after a truck for a trailer, it’s only 8 months, what’s the big deal? Get one and drive it. Probabaly be a nicer experience than a little car anyways.
To the rest of your questions, sounds like you’re not decided on what type of rv setup you want anyway, so.....
Given the tone of your posts, it sounds like you do not have a lot of mechanical aptitude with vehicles, so I’d stay lower miles with whatever you get, but you’ll never (almost never) come out ahead on buying new vs buying used, financially.
Also, I cannot imagine the lease payments on a $50k truck. Big trucks hold value, run the numbers before deciding.
