Navigation software for a laptop...

I would like to attach my laptop to my dash and be able to
Navigate using GPS through my computer. What do I need to purchase to be able to have GPS on my computer. Does anybody use this system to Navigate? Where can I purchase a Laptop stand that I can attach to the dash.

X2 here. The navigator has the power to overide the stand alone GPS if for any reason a deviation is deemed necessary or planned contrary to what the stand alone GPS thinks.
  • Here is the best

    Copilot Live for laptop

I made this pvc netbook holder and use the program CoPilot live for laptop as well as their android version on my Galaxy S3

  • We've been using Delorme for 20 years. However, the driver doesn't go by it. It's used to plan the trip and so the passenger can follow along. The route is transferred to a Garmin GPS just to give the driver a heads up on turns, etc. The Garmin doesn't give the detail that Delorme gives. We typically don't travel interstates and we love the Delorme for all the small details and putting in the way WE want to go instead of programming A to B.
