What about flying into Anchorage and spending the time in Alaska? We rented a 23' Class C from Great Alaskan Holidays and loved it! We spent 12 days touring in the RV. Great Alaskan Holidays is a class act company. We arrived at midnight, took a taxi to their location which is adjacent to the airport and they had our name in our RV and we just went inside, went to sleep and checked in with them in the morning. Best customer service!! Not cheap but they explain everything in detail. They go over the RV with you at check in and give you directions to the nearest grocery store to stock up. You also get a sticker for the state parks. For commercial parks use the Milepost directory.
