We're a family of 5 from NYC, and would like to go on our first ever RV trip, for 10-14 days this coming June (2nd or 3rd week). We'd like to see as much wildlife as possible.
1. Where should we go? We initially considered Yellowstone, but have read that it's not ideal for RVs, especially ones over 30'.
You can easily fit a 30' RV in Yellowstone. Our 40' fits. If you fly and do Yellowstone be sure to take in Grand Teton Nat'l Park which is adjacent to Yellowstone and is completely different in looks. Take a gentle float trip on the Snake River and quite possibly you'll see a moose in the water, too. The nearby town of Jackson has a rodeo that the kids would like and a chairlift up the ski hill. Have a good trip!
