Only you would know as it is a lifestyle. Camping is the lifestyle that we love. We like being out in Nature where we choose to be not looking out of a motel window. We also have two dogs that are part of the family. Yes you can find motels that accept dogs but it is not easy and usually it is not a very nice motel. If they do take dogs in a nice motel there is usually a high dog fee. There is something about the freedom of having your own home on wheels to go where you want when you want with your pets. While we love it it is not for everybody. We have close friends that prefer hotels and there is nothing wrong with that. I spent 38 years traveling and working out of hotels and now that I am retired RVing is our chosen mode of travel. Take your time and think about it and do what gives you the most excitement. We wish you well with your choice.
