My sister thinks we are crazy for buying a Class A motorhome instead of staying at hotels/motels. We started a list of cons and pros, and experiences in both and by far, the motorhome won out for us handsdown. We have a little dog, so there are quite a few motels that allow her. The problem is that everyone else uses that room/bed/toilet/carpet, etc. We like living in our own germs! We also like the fact that we can stop when we want and have food and bathroom right there. RV/camping people are usually so nice and the sights and sounds of camp are pleasant. I can never really sleep in a motel--noises from others and our dog never relaxes--always on alert. My sister won't travel unless she can stay at a hotel/motel so they always are eating out. We like the simple things in life and our motorhome allows us that experience.
