We want to purchase a smaller motor RV (thinking like Winnebago Riata) and traveling from Vermont to Cali, down to Florida and back up to Vermont.
That's an ambitious agenda, with a lot of driving, if your group is new to RVing. It can be done if that's what you want to do, but I'd decide what I really wanted to do, and cover less ground. Some people are fine with a new stop every day, but others want to spend more time at their preferred locations. Whatever works.
But you need to build in some time for a shakedown trip or two before heading across the country and back. Also figure that there is a chance of something going wrong at some point, particularly with that much driving. Plan accordingly.
