Every motorhome I purchased was going to the last...same goes for my son's boats. Parking a trailer in a campground is an art...an art I have not mastered. I have trouble backing my son's boat down the ramp. But that's just me. Before you buy make sure someone teaches you the fundamentals of backing into a campground site. As for purchasing a previously owned RV first, that has never been my model. I like the new car/rv/boat whatever smell. Just me. But do get some trailering instructions from a friend, a salesman, or even pay one of the technicians to take you out after work. Once you start it becomes a fantastic way to vacation with the family. It's that first getting started that has a significant learning curve.
