I take a lot of what I've learned about towing for granted, seems like second nature, since I've been towing trailers since about 15 years old.
My advice would be to find a friend who has a trailer and well versed in towing it, any trailer, the bigger the better and get them to borrow you the trailer and train you in all the basics. There's a bunch to know, but if you're intuitive and half way mechanically inclined, it will not take long to be comfortable.
If you don't have any buds in this category, maybe someone on here who lives near you would help out.
