If you have never towed "Anything" then it is time to go to a local U-haul and rent their longer trailer. Nothing special, just to practice towing. It will not have any stability control, it should have surge brakes, something you will be happy that travel trailers do not have!
Practice in a local mall parking lot on a Sunday, before they open. Or large parking lot like Home Depot when it is fairly empty.
Then consider what you might want to rent or try out. Do you know anyone with a travel trailer? Fifth wheel? Do any of your friends go out camping? You can get first hand tips from them, and hopefully they can join you on your first camping trip, so questions like how to hook up the black water, and to keep the black tank closed until it is time to leave - these are important tips to know. To close the grey tank valve the night before you leave, so that 25 gallons of grey water will build up in that tank, and be there to dump the black, then rinse the hose out with the 25 gallons of grey water, before putting away the hose.
Perhaps you have a friend who will let you tow their trailer on a trip, to give it a try?
Have fun camping!
You have a great truck for most any travel trailer, but are limited on the pin weight of a fifth wheel, to about 1,500 pounds, or about 7,000 total weight of a fifth wheel. A 10,000 pound travel trailer should have a 1,000 - 1,200 pound hitch weight, well within the 2500 series cargo rating.
