Did you buy this to be a perpetual project ? There likely will be enough things crop up that you really NEED to fix that you will soon tire of modifying too many things.
If you tend to be lazy you find creative solutions. My tiny little shower has become a second closet with the simple addition of a bar across the top. There is a LOT of storage space under the bed. On and on.
