I would have to let others chime in on high altitude since I haven't been much over a couple thousand feet, but I imagine it does fairly well since it is a forced induction engine. Pulling is what is does great, and going up a mountain it will do with spirit. I have no doubt it would pull its rating with ease. A TT I would probably not go over 7500-8000 lbs, but that's just personal preference.
IMO though the main difference though between the EB and other NA V8s is that you can keep the revs low while pulling.
