I just have to chime in on the ecoboost. There seems to be some confusion as to it's ability. Yes it is a V6 engine but it also is twin turbo. and with 422ft/lb of torque it is designed to tow!
As for how it does at altitude, last year I used mine to tow a Kodiak 242 from Central Saskatchewan to Oregon, across the canadian rockies. Tows like a dream!!!!
And YES Ford rates it's towing at 11,300pounds!
