Most campgrounds I know of have rules. The rules typically say things like pick up your trash, pickup after your dog, no loud music, don't cut through campsites, quiet time starts at _____, no generators between ___ & ___, etc. etc. I have never seen a rule that said No Awning Lights, Rope Lights, Ground Lights, etc. I think the rules are made so that the vast majority of reasonable people will be happy with their camping experience. So if you are a reasonable person and follow the rules you will be petty much good to go. If you don't like what the rules say -or- don't say, you may be better off finding a campground that has rules more to your liking. But, if you're not a reasonable person, you probably aren't going to find rules to your liking no matter where you go.
