On previous beach trips we have been able to leave them behind in our RV with no problems for short periods of time.
While your dog is well trained and behaves when you leave him along in the RV for short periods of time, this is not universally true of all dogs and owners. Some owners leave their dog alone and take off for a short period of time and then their dog starts barking and barking loud enough to be disruptive to other RVers in the surrounding area. When the owner returns he has no way of knowing how much his dog was barking!!!
