No water coming to water faucets in RV but coming to toilet

It froze here in Catalina State Park AZ last night. Temps down to 17 degrees. Currently, we have no water coming into the RV through our water faucets or shower but the toilet bowl is slowly fills with water. We are connected to the water line at the camp site and there is no problem as water is flowing through our hose to the RV. It is 4:40 PM and it has been a sunny warm day so would have thought anything n frozen would have fully thawed out by now. We even ran the furnace for several hours to see if that would help but to no avail. I wonder if there is some shutoff valve we don't now about that may have been inadvertently activated.

We have a Jayco Melbourne 2008. We have had this RV for 8 weeks and have had it on the road for a few weeks so are not familiar with all the workings yet. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks Margaret

  • Can you get water from the FW tank using the pump?

There may be a check valve somewhere that got freeze-jammed.
  • I'd fill the onboard fresh water tank...and disconnect the hose at night. Bring it inside or store it where it will not freeze.

Keep your grey and black tank valves in the CLOSED position. Only dump them when they are full... and make sure your sewer hose is drained. You can keep it on the ground. You can keep it hooked up... but you don't want any water setting anywhere in it to freeze.

At night... open your cabinet doors so that warm air gets under the sinks...kitchen and bathroom.
  • Have you checked the screens at each faucet? The terlit has a large diameter opening for debris to flow through. Faucets have micro screens which clog easily. You may have gotten a gulp of gunk in the lines.
