many of us simply install a disconnect switch. that way we don't have to haul the battery around.
and hooking up the tow vehicle is a POOR way of recharging the battery. at best, it does only a trickle charge.
Ok, what is the difference between installing a battery disconnect switch and just disconnecting the negtive as one poster said? Remember, you are talking to the wife and not hubby so I don't know these things. LOL!
