My camping neighbor in Brewster MA last year had a Frontier with the same 6500# towing as my Tacoma, know going off my memory his trailer was a single axle, trailer about 18' mine a double, at 20' he was asking me if I had any issues towing with my trailer which I didn't, where he was having problems with power, long story short and IMO the Nissans Frontiers are over rated on the towing.
