Many of the RV parks have small cabins you can rent. I talked to some Canadians that come down and rent a cabin in an RV park they like. Their view was lots of upkeep and fuel cost on RVs. They drive down in their small vehicle and stay the winter. I would rent before I decided to buy. You didn't mention investment. JMHO government can't print more real estate. Real estate like the stock market always goes up with some down periods. Just a matter of timing when you buy and sell.
