First, are we talking about a weekend? Will you have water/sewer connections?
How many people?
What are the capacities of your fresh water and grey water tanks?
Naturally, paper plates will save water and grey tank filling.
However, if you have the tank capacity, let her use dishes if she's the washer.
However, she should take a used napkin or paper towel and swipe the plate droppings into the wastecan. Any grease should be put in a container or wastecan. Pots/pans should be wiped out, too. Coffee grounds should be put in the wastecan. If she keeps putting garbage down the drain you will eventually get a layer of grease and stuff at the bottom of the tank that will never exit. If you're at a full-hookup site and leave your grey water valve open continuously, some of that gunk will soon be lining your sewer hose. Grey water stuff smells worse than black water.
If she runs out of fresh water during your stay or the grey water tank gets full, let her deal with it and she'll soon learn to conserve.
When folks are finished for a weekend without a sewer hookup and go to the dump station, usually the grey is full or about full and the black tank is 1/3 full. That black tank need to be at least 3/4 full to empty properly. That's one reason folks dump their dish water down the toilet. It doesn't have to set in the toilet for her to clean the scum ring or for her to look at it, but instead, hold the valve open and dump it straight through. That black tank needs water or you'll have future problems of clogs.
Take it a trip at a time and things will even out.
