For us it comes down to how many dishes to wash and rejoin the the living :-). Boon-docking or paid CG we use everything disposable we can, plates, utensils, glasses. Of coarse if meat that requires a knife we would use hard stuff. I don't like cutting a steak and the plastic coating or paper gets included in the meat.
