It's always the guy's fault, no matter what. Go with the flow and get over it. :)
DW is a huge proponent of paper plates. That way, she cuts down on washing dishes, lol... We never dry camp so water conservation is not an issue. If we need to cut on plates, the food is heavy or it's wet or sloppy, the unbreakable microwaveable plates come out. If the paper plates are reasonably clean after using them, we'll save them for the next meal. We have a 1/2-round 12 gallon Costco trash container that sits next to a dinette seat (doesn't interfere with anything) and waste volume isn't an issue. Many RVs don't have space for much of a garbage can anywhere ('cuz RVs are designed by men). If you have to hang a plastic grocery bag off a knob on the stove, you're probably going to use regular plates. No foam plates for us - not good for the environment.
