Well I would not normally complain but a 40 foot RV parked across the street from my house I would complain, that's why I bought a larger lot with RV parking, a small boat or small trailer might be OK but a 40 footer, that takes up a lot of parking spaces for cars..
They have storage yards for RV's or just buy a home with RV parking.
Why should anyone complain IF it was parked in front of the owners house and there were no signs prohibiting such..
On my street for example there are no sidewalks and room to park cars is only on one side of the street..
so many people having several cars park on the street also,,why should RV be any different as long as no one lives in it? - wildvikingExplorerHey in Seattle they have all kinds of RVs all over the city on streets and public places people living in them. It's quite handy if you pass thru Seattle just pull over and set up the lawn chairs

- CroweExplorerI always forget how trigger happy and afraid you all can get down there.
Thanks for judging us. No fear, not trigger happy, just reality. - Jebby14Explorer

Fishing has been non-existent! :B
Jebby 14 was talking about being LEGALLY unpleasant. There are proper ways to handle neighborhood disputes.
Agreed but it doesn't something illegal to cause someone else to fly off the handle.
all in good fun people. I was joking around. I always forget how trigger happy and afraid you all can get down there. - free_radicalExplorer

Just got a parking ticket for leaving my 40ft. Parked on the street in front of my house. I was parked leaga)y, and not living in it. Normally leave it there between trips.
Are there any signs on the road stating parking is not allowed.? - WalabyExplorer II

Surely you jest.... - Bucky_BadgerExplorerYou guys do know not everyone is board and is sitting in front of their computers
- WalabyExplorer IISo, assume for sake of argument, that parking your rv/trailer in the street is against the law. And suppose a neighbor calls law enforcement to complain, and individual gets ticketed. Some of you are suggesting that it warrants retaliation against said neighbor (even if retaliation is legal)?
Of course, I would try first to approach said TT/Rv owner and ask nicely if he would comply with city ordinance and not park on the street (assuming that is the case). Of course, if said owner is a jerk and pitches a fit, and I call the police, then it will be clear that I called, and if I lived next to a few of you guys, I guess I would be setting myself up for retaliation.
Wow....
