Does this phrase in a campground description mean that we aren't allowed to leave our dogs alone in the RV when we are touring? That's how it reads to me, but that also doesn't make sense to me. ...

As a Dog person, Ive seen this restriction only one time and it was spelled out, "Do not leave your pets unattented inside or outside of your RV". Most CG's will say, "dont leave pets unattented" which in MOST cases means tied up outside. I tend to agree that if my dogs are behaving, there in my RV and I have all my normal precautions for heat/power in place, then its no ones business whats going on inside the MH.
