Picked up TT - question about extended warranty

A couple of things I'm sure they did not tell you:
1. You will probably have to have dealer do regular maintenance. For example, roof-caulking (you pay for) How much maintenance costs would you be able to do yourself instead of paying the dealer for?
2. That pro-rated refund; it is applied to the END of the loan so you only see it when/if you pay it off or sell it.

Most of us (me) learned about those after we got burned. I never bought the extended service after that first trailer.
