My total length is a bit over 60 ft.
Most “RV” parking spots at truck stops and restaurants are 40 or 45 feet long. I’ve never been questioned or given a dirty look by truckers when I park among the big rigs at any truck stop. I’ve been complimented more than once about being able to cleanly back in between two rigs.
Frankly, I prefer truck stops for my traveling stops because truckers don’t cut me off, clear the fuel lanes after they finish their fill up and a just more courteous than the average sedan driver. They know I have specific space requirements with respect to maneuvering my TT.
If I show respect about their needs, they show respect about my needs. But I also remember they are on the job, Time is literally money to them. I got a lot more time than money as a retiree.
