In the past when we rented RV's, we would pick it up, bring it to the house, and plug in the RV in the garage to have things running while we loaded up.After reading a ton on here, I have a feeling we weren't supposed to be plugging into a regular plug at the house, but using some sort of converter.Is that right? Your ok plugging in at home. Some don't have a 30A receptacle at home and need a small adapter to be able to plug into a regular receptacle.

I don't see why not. A typical home outlet is going to be 15-20 amps, so you might be prone to tripping breakers if you run everything at once (especially AC), but otherwise it should be fine. Obviously you'll need a converter to make the plug physically fit in the outlet, but those can be found for like $6.

The RV has the converter built in. It changes 120VAC to 12 VDC. Plugging in at home allowa you to pre cool the refer and maintain battery charge.

What you need is an "adaptor" that changes a 30 Amp 120VAC 3 Male Pins (H,N and G) to a 15 Amp 120 VAC 3 Male Pins (H, N and G). And, as said, do not try to run the Air Conditioner on a 15 Amp circuit.

When plugged in at home, the converter, converts 120 VAC to 12 volt DC to operate the lights etc. It will also allow for the use of the microwave & Air conditioner which require 120 VAC. When not plugged in to shore power, the batteries on board are your only power source, but will only operate the 12 volt appliances on board.

I am looking on Amazon (I have a big credit there), but I am not seeing any male to male adapters. They are all female to male or vice versa. ???

The previous owners lived in a TT while the house was being built, and they installed a meter for the TT way out the driveway, so we could use that. But, it is far away from the house and not real convenient for loading/unloading.

If you guys could provide a link to one, I would really appreciate it. Thx!
